Emergency Training

The Gordon Center’s Prehospital and Emergency Training Programs train thousands of registrants per year at the Center. In addition, these programs are used at more than 800 agencies in Florida, and over 1,500 throughout the US and world. We train learners in the following courses:

The Gordon Center is also home to the Army Trauma Training Detachment, which prepares U.S. Army Forward Surgical Trauma Teams prior to their front-line deployment.

ASLS® Blended

An innovative, 2-part web and skills curriculum developed by the Gordon Center with the American Heart Association, now being rolled out to healthcare, educational, and emergency response training centers across the United States.

In-Person Courses

Each curriculum at our center is developed by esteemed clinicians and educators, ensuring it reflects the latest scientific insights. Every program undergoes a meticulous review process, with content experts and professional evaluators ensuring that they meet the highest standards. Instructors who are trained in our signature programs – Advanced Stroke Life Support®, Acute Coronary Syndromes with 12-Lead ECG Interpretation, Airway Management – Principles and Practice, and Emergency Response to Terrorism – deliver these curricula at colleges and training programs for both prehospital and hospital providers across Florida, throughout the United States, and internationally.
